Style Scouting: Vol. 229
Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

After almost summer-like temps and sunshine two weeks ago, this past week was quite the opposite… cold, rainy and grey all week. I love a rainy day, but not a whole week. When searching online for links this week, I made sure to find homes and ideas infused with lots of happy colors that I hope you enjoy.
Even in the gloom, the best two contractors got together and finally got the living room ceiling completed. It was supposed to be done right after Christmas. I will share more about this week.
Now onto the links I found for you this week.

Hi Diane, thanks so much for the shout out :) Have a great week.
The 1% rule is a great way to tidy up and make oneself feel better at the same time.
Though I’m a grandma now, I’ve been doing several of the “grandma” hobbies most of my life. I sew, knit, quilt, bake, garden, read, a do jigsaw puzzles. Birdwatching is a newer hobby after we put up a bird feeder that we can see out the French doors and big windows in the back of the house. Our favorite are the pileated woodpeckers, cardinals, and blue jays. So colorful.
Great scoutings this week, D. I got that marble cell phone holder in a Christmas gift exchange this past Christmas and LOVE it. I keep mine next to my tub when I am soaking to play soothing music……or check my texts or phone games if I am in the tub a long time. I like it so much I just added your link to my cart b/c I have wanted one for the kitchen, too. It’s heavy and sturdy enough to hold a tablet side to side too – which is my preferred way on the rare occasions I am watching or reading recipes, etc. I like to have a larger screen for these old eyes to read easier.
Hi Michele – I didn’t think about using one of the marble stands for my iPad. What I use now is a white plastic easel for it.
As always, a bunch of links got pinned and a few, sent off to my sister. I enjoy my Sunday mornings with you.
Hi Patricia – Thanks for sharing the links and enjoying my posts.
